On the search for a yummy, healthy snack? Here you find two: Teff bliss balls and baobab bites. And since they complement each other so well, we put them together.
Teff bliss balls:
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 1 tbsp walnut mousse
- 2 tbsp agave syrup (or another sweetener of your choice)
- 4 tbsp puffed quinoa
- 1 tbsp teff seeds
- optional: 1 pinch cinnamon, 1 pinch vanilla, 1 pinch salt
Mix ingredients well, form them into balls and dust them in either teff seeds or baobab powder, depending on your preference. Place the bliss balls in the freezer for an hour and enjoy!
- 3 tbsp baobab powder
- 3 tbsp coconut mousse (or another mousse of your choice)
- 1 cup popped amaranth
- 1/2 cup de-shelled hemp seeds
- 2-3 tbsp lime juice
- sweetener of your choice
Mix everything thoroughly and spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet, so that it is approximately 1 cm (0.4″) high. Place everything in the freezer for an hour, cut it into small squares and enjoy!
