Especially during winter time our skin requires rich and nutritious care. Sometimes it can be beneficial to create your own skincare products. The higher the quality of the ingredients you use, the better the cream you create.
- 200 g (7.1 oz) cocoa butter, gently melted
- 100 ml (3.4 fl oz) baobab oil
- 100 ml (3.4 fl oz) liquid coconut oil or olive oil
- 5-10 drops essential oils (eg. orange oil or rose oil)
Gently melt the cocoa butter at 40°C in a dehydrator. Once molten, thoroughly mix the cocoa butter with the remaining oils and allow time to cool off. Blend the solid body butter using a hand-held mixer and fill into clean mason jars.
Tipp: You can vary the essential oils you add according to your own preference. Also check out the scents of the oils you use as they have a wonderful scent in their own right and may not require essential oils.
