Nigeria is the third-largest ginger producer worldwide after India and China. This makes ginger an important export commodity for the Nigerian economy. Our partner in Nigeria produces and processes organic ginger in the central region of Kaduna. The region provides ideal conditions for ginger production and is one of the largest production areas for ginger worldwide. The harvesting time for ginger is from October to May. Ginger is always harvested fresh according to the need, as it can also remain in the soil unharvested for up to two years without a problem.
